Welcome to Carmel-by-the-Sea’s First Friday of the Month Dog Club. We are a group of dog lovers who frequent the wonderful leash-free beach at the foot of Ocean Avenue in Carmel, usually every day. We also gather at sunset on the first Friday of the month to share food and wine in the cove at the South end of the beach. Everyone is welcome! Bring some food and some wine or beer and join us on the next first Friday for a warm fire and enchanting conversation - at least among our dogs.
And remember, always wag more and bark less. If we all did that this world would will be a lot better off.
Hi Steve,
Threatening rain and serious sore throats kept us inside this evening, but hopefully there were a few intrepid soles who kept the (soon to be) traditon alive. How did it go (or not)?
See you at the beach,
Denise (aka Dennie)

Ok…I think Neeka and I are going to miss tonite’s Beach Party (1/4/08), it’s just a bit too much weather for me (of course Neeka see no problem with this weather).

We love the Carmel Beach! We all come home refreshed and recalibrated! Bear and Magic have become automatically trained and responsive to commands just by having been given the chance to run, play and “socialize” with the other dogs. I had never thought that “leash free” would be this easy.
I love watching what these dogs are “made of”! Each dog truly has its own particular talents and personality. I’m slowly learning all their names but would love it if we could add a “introductions” segment to this website, where we could all upload a picture and description of our dogs and talk about how each has touched the world.
Thanks to you Robert for starting this dog club, and thanks for reaching out so warmly. What a special welcome it was to arrive new in town in mid October, and be at the first WMBL (wag more bark less) get-together in November. Good memories had and looking forward to many many more!
Much Love,
Caroline, Tom, Bear and Magic

We may build a different web site on Ning.com which will contain more opportunities for things like “introductions” as Caroline mentions - might be a little easier to update and maintain - stay tuned - your team at WMBL
